Skin is extremely important to protect your body. It is a cover over the body, which protects the body from diseases and attacks outside. There are many layers in it, it is the largest organ of the human body. Let's tell you some interesting facts about the skin.

1. How much do you know your skin?:-


The skin of an average adult is about 21 square feet and weighs 9 pounds i.e. around four kilos. The length of the blood vessels of the body is about 11 miles i.e. around 18 kilometers.

2. So much sweats:-


During the summer the sweat flows to three gallons of body, i.e. around 11 liters, in one place at several places during the summer. Do you know that the nail linings, lips, genital ends, and ear curtains do not sweat.

3. Fingerprints your identity:-


Few fingerprints have never been developed. Due to two rare genetic defects named Negly Syndrome and Zerretopathia Pigmentosa reticularis, the fingerprints of the person's fingers are not realized throughout life.

4. Dust particle spreading skin:-


Dead skin cells around the world cause billions of tons of dust in the atmosphere. Every year 50,000 cells are separated from your skin.

5. Monkey marks:-


Fingerprints help to increase friction and make hold on objects. New world monkey has a similar print at the bottom of the caudal. This helps them to get hold of a tail from hanging from one branch to another.
